In 2007, Cynthia left the sunny shores of Mauritius to pursue her dreams in Australia. She firsthand knows the challenges of starting a new life in a foreign country. Today, she channels that empathy into empowering students with honest, reliable guidance. Having called Perth home ever since, Cynthia’s story is one of resilience, passion, and dedication to the community.

While she is professionally trained as a bookkeeper, her true calling lies in supporting others. In 2021, Cynthia founded Women With Purpose, a group focused on empowering women and regularly hosts free events in partnership with the local council to uplift communities. As of 2025, she serves as the President of the Bayswater Petanque Club, bridging cultures with warmth. Continuing her streak of success in 2025, she also made history as the inaugural State President of Mauritius Diaspora Australia (MDA), the country’s first national Mauritian association. Cynthia proves that success is not just about personal achievement, it’s about lifting others along the way.
